This project involved designing a catchy and recognizable sign to sit atop a 3 sided kiosk display for CD sales. The sign measures 16 1/2" x 9". Three signs were printed per kiosk to be arranged as an equilateral prism to be viewable from 360º. |
The CD packaging design is a jewel case with full color traycard, spine, and CD face print. The 4-panel folded booklet is a full color offset print. The CD print is a full color screen print. The font used had to be licensed commercially, and a professional photographer was commisioned for the band photo. |
This is a logo that I designed to represent a website. Branding is important in any commercial endeavor, and it helps to maintain a consistent and recognizable image for any product, including websites. I sketched the layout, and enlisted the help of a professional illustrator to a achieve a hand-drawn feel. This is engineered informality that achieves an image that stands out in a sea of glossy corporate logos. |
This is a poster that I designed for a music event. It is important to have a sense of humor sometimes and think outside the box when designing promotional materials. This is also a good example of using strong colors to attract attention, and bring the viewer in for closer inspection. |
Animations make viewing websites a dynamic experience, and can draw the viewers eye to important graphics or information. This is an example of a simple GIF animation that I had fun with. I designed it to be an effective attention getter that can be placed anywhere in website, and be linked to other pages, information, or functions. |
